"New Flavors of Fresh Pages (Honey Moon)" available on iTunes: 11/10/09 BIO: "We Proudly Present (WPP)" was formed in Evanston, IL in early 2008 by singer/songwriter Sam Nicolosi (age 14 at the time). Sam Nicolosi had been writing more and more original material that was clearly something new and exciting to introduce into the Alternative and Pop genres. He began recording acoustic songs in early 2009 for what he called "Surrender (Acoustic EP)" and used the alias of We Proudly Present to post the songs on PureVolume. Local fans immediately responded to the 4-song EP and demanded more. Soon enough, We Proudly Present began writing lyrics and arrangements for tons of more songs. Nicolosi immediately began pushing himself out of being categorized as an acoustic artist by posting short bulletins and blogs using MySpace, Facebook, and PureVolume about the future of WPP. In July of 2009, Nicolosi began recording his debut single "New Flavors of Fresh Pages (Honey Moon)". A release date for the song was set for November 10th on PureVolume and iTunes, and Nicolosi made clear that the song would be a pre-release for an (independently recorded) EP was in progress and yet to be completed. On August 1st, he announced the title of the EP: "Acres of Exclamation!" and ensures that the EP will be a short, but diverse, melting pot of genres. With the debut single "Honey Moon" releasing November 10th and a pre-album EP in production, Sam Nicolosi has set We Proudly Present into motion. Upcoming shows: check the EVENTS section!
