"There is no good thing coming from a bad thing" August 23, 2009: DEAR LISTENER, So, Where to begin. 200 West has taken a new direction with our sound, style, and music. We currently have added 3 more members. Greg Galarze on bass, Nick Waters on drums, and Jon Pacheco on Vocals (the current members Chris Galarze on Guitar/vocals and Biggie Lorrigo on Guitar, still remain). We are currently trying to book as many shows as possible and have just finished writing our new E.P. For the next couple of months, aside from practicing and playing shows we will be in the studio, FINALLY!!!!!!! We are taking our time and actually are going to spend a lot of time putting together and perfecting the music we have been working with. We will be recording with our buddy Ryan who recorded our first E.P and we are super-stoked on it, and his recording and mixing style. Basically, from here on out we're ALL about the all encompassing concept of MUSIC, the shows, the writing, the recording, the people, everything!!!! We currently have a twitter page : http://twitter.com/200West And very shortly we will have a youtube channel documenting everything so that you guys can join us for the ride. The next couple of months will be interesting. So if you like the music and want to come out to shows we would love to see you there. So look for our new E.P to be out around mid-October, early November, pending on how everything turns out. We have never been so excited about the music we have made and this entire process, and we really think the songs we record will show how much passion and dedication we have, and will continue to put into this.
